As the VP of Pre-Construction, Mike oversees and optimizes organizational processes, managing project management and construction teams to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in achieving strategic goals. He joined i.e.Smart Systems in 2023, bringing with him 18 years of experience in the aviation, oil & gas, and industrial construction sectors. Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, as well as numerous contractor’s licenses (NASCLA) throughout the United States.

Mike and his family have called Houston home since moving from Western Canada in 2016. An avid hockey fan, he still gets out regularly to play recreationally. When he and his wife are not shuttling their two daughters to sports events, the family enjoys spending time together hiking, camping, and cheering on the Houston Texans and Chicago Blackhawks.
