In the continuing tradition of UTMB, the Houston Education Center (HEC) is the most technologically advanced facility in which future health professionals are trained. i.e.Smart Systems has been a strategic partner with UTMB since initially being called in after the rebuild from Hurricane Ike in 2008. State-of-the-art conference rooms, learning studios, debrief rooms, and simulation labs were just a few of the technology spaces that i.e.Smart Systems managed. Audio and control systems for the simulation labs were created in order to accommodate UTMB’s workflow and in order to provide superior training and education. Ease-of-use was paramount so that the system could be used by a wide array of operators. i.e.Smart Systems continues to be a vital technology services partner today by providing onsite support.
