As an 80-year old company and the third largest producer of natural gas in the US, Southwestern Energy Company continues to grow at a rapid rate. This exponential growth has driven a targeted focus on elevating company standards surrounding innovation, efficiency, and quality of workforce.
SOUTHWESTERN ENERGY PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
i.e.Smart Systems installed user-friendly audio/video systems throughout Southwestern Energy’s twin buildings. Because studies show that face-to-face meetings are still significantly more effective than emails, texts, and phone calls, A/V capabilities are essential in staying ahead in today’s highly mobile landscape. One common challenge that companies run into with A/V systems are delays and inefficiency due to technical problems or complexity of the system. To address this problem, i.e.Smart Systems installed simple technologies that were easy to operate and proven to be both reliable and sustainable.
Working in a forward-thinking environment with the ability to connect virtually are two of the basic fundamentals in becoming an employer-of-choice for millennials and younger workers. This includes a worksite with all of the modern conveniences. By installing a DAS system, Southwestern Energy could ensure its workers would have reliable connectivity to the outside world, even in the top floors of the twin buildings. The decision to go with a DAS system was also essential for operational efficiency and safety (first responders).
The DAS system included:
- First Responder – Life Safety
- In-Building Cellular, as an essential RF wireless Transmission for reliable cellular connectivity for First Responder’s operational efficiency and safety.
