When i.e.Smart Systems was awarded the Noble Energy Center 2 project, we knew we had our work cut out for us.
Due to the absence of electrical power and air conditioning at the construction site needed for our systems installation, hundreds of products had to be engineered, ordered, staged, pre-installed, and tested off-site to ensure strict adherence to the construction schedule.
NOBLE ENERGY PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
i.e.Smart Systems utilized its in-house Technology Clean Room for building and installing components within many technology racks and implemented a 17-phase roll out to complete 89 conference rooms. Because quality control is an integral part of our workflow and to address the construction’s environmental challenges, our in-house technical experts overcame the challenge of performing an installation on an unclean job site with an aggressive schedule. Additionally, once on-site for final implementation, through teamwork and ingenuity, we found creative ways to generate power to each room for user acceptance testing, ensuring the smoothest, most optimal user experience on launch day.
Aside from the 89 conference rooms, i.e.Smart Systems was also tasked with a large-scale video wall for their Town Hall. This complex video wall consisted of the installation of 336 Christie MicroTiles. This unprecedented installation is the largest Christie video wall in Texas.
Both projects were met within Noble Energy’s construction schedule and accident-free thanks to i.e. Smart System’s safety culture, training, compliance and oversight from our dedicated onsite Safety Manager.
