July 7, 2011(HOUSTON)—i.e.SmartSystems has received the 2011 Association of General Contractors of America Sub-Contractor Safety Excellence Award at this year’s mid-year Meeting. The award was presented to i.e.SmartSystems President Gary Colvin by AGC Houston Director of Safety Services, Doug Watson.
“We have worked very hard to ensure the safety of our staff and our clients as we service their needs,” said Colvin after accepting the award. “Safety is one of our top priorities, as it not only helps us consistently ensure customer satisfaction but also protects our clients and helps them feel secure.”
The President also directly credited the efforts of Safety/Quality Control Manager Gabriel Rodriguez in overseeing the integrity of the safety process.
“Rodriguez is a key part of our company and the backbone of our safety process,” Colvin added. “His presence has been nothing but beneficial to our organization. We are proud to have him as part of our team.”
The award serves as an addition to an already long, growing list of awards received by the company since its inception in 2000, including the Houston Business Journal Fast Tech 50 Award and a high ranking on Texas Construction Magazine’s list of top specialty contractors.
